Our Orlando Dermatology Nurse Practitioners
Mildride Pierre Monize, ARNP
Mildride Pierre Monize was born in Miami, Florida. She moved to Orlando to attend University of Central Florida (UCF). She quickly changed her major from Physical Therapy (physics II was a killer) to and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Health Service Administration in 1999. While working full-time she then obtained her Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Phoenix-Maitland Campus. Still missing interaction with patient care, she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (Accelerated Program) in 2002 from UCF. Mrs. Monize practiced as a cardiac charge registered nurse tending to the acute and chronically ill patients at a top rated local hospital for nine years.
During her experience as a RN she realized that she wanted to do more to educate and empower her patients and their families. As a result, she returned to education (again) she completed her Master’s degree in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati and University of Boston Massachusetts in 2013 and 2015, respectively as a Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her state license and her board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Her dermatological career began in 2013 with Dr. Goodless where she was trained in the common and rare medical dermatological conditions, skin cancer management and surgical excisions. Mrs. Monize firmly believes in providing quality care by forming relationships with all her patients; through grace, honesty and patience.
